Here's the latest on what the press has to say about The Big Zephyr.
Go see The Big
Zephyr: they are “on track.”
The Big Zephyr is a quad of talented
humans who will evoke nostalgia, passion, and smiles and not necessarily in
that order. Their amazing ability to reanimate the sounds of classic rock
and pop is evident in all of their work. They faithfully reproduce original
sounds from a bevy of releases including performances ranging from the
Beatles to Nora Jones and numerous ones in between. They will make you
smile while adding their own fascinating style to each selection.
Having heard them
just last month I can still recall that while I listened I would close my
eyes occasionally and my brain would register the original performers – but
almost like a new performance, improved over the original.
The Big Zephyr
consists of a lead guitar-singer, a bass guitar-singer, a drummer, and a
female singer who is usually the lead. These four have a “sound” that
doesn’t come along that often and creates almost a new instrument. Their
passion for the music and their energy are consistent throughout their
performance. Maybe most of all, they look like they are having fun working
together.
If you haven’t been
to see live music in awhile, or even if you have, you need to check out The
Big Zephyr…or as Arnold would say once you go you’ll “be back.”
‘Til next time, I’m ,
